Security Capital Corp. - Buyout of Primrose

Big liquidity event for company.. they made a ton of money
but probably sold out too cheap.. who would have thought
that private equity firm (SCC) can be so stupid as to sell crown jewel
i holding company for as little as 85 MM.. should have been at least 10x rolyalty revenue.
which puts cash value more at 120 MM.. so much for shopping a great company to a cheapskate
buyer. the purchase though validates ACAS once again as a smart purchasor of assets at very cheap price. this Primrose thing will be a steady grower within ACAS.. may have to reallocated some holdings from SCC to ACAS, if only SCC were not as darn cheap as it is.

ICO Inc Depositary Shares (ICOCZ)

intriguing spread between these Depositary Shares and underlying Liquidation Preference of Preferreds.

If ICO Inc stays around in business, spread must narrow over time.

Thus, far, ICO Inc seems well managed.
